Our Sun2Solar® XD2 Pool Heater provides an unbeatable performance. You can extend your swimming season with free solar energy from the sun. Ideal for use with inground pools, multiple heaters can be connected in series to increase the efficiency of pool heating. The heater is easy to install, requires no electric or gas connections, and includes adapters for Intex® pools.
A bypass kit (included) is required for pools with a 1HP pump or higher, or for use with an inground pool. This allows you to divert water away from the heater at night or on cold days and control the flow rate (the slower the water passes through the heater, the more effectively it will heat the water). Using any solar heating device during cold temperatures effectively cools your pool water.
Note: The XD2 includes basic installation accessories. This item cannot be mounted on a roof.
