Safety Cover Steel Installation Rod. This is the rod that is used as a utility to install the springs/straps onto the anchors. The installation rod is placed through the end of the spring, then the end of the installation rod is angled toward and placed on the anchor. Leverage is then applied to slide the spring onto the anchor. A very useful tool, saves time and a huge headache. Total Length 30-1/4″, OD 1″, and ID approximately 13/16″.
