Initial Install:

1. Drain Pool Water Level: Drain the pool water level below the skimmer opening to facilitate the installation process.
2. Remove Original Skimmer Face Plate: Unscrew and remove the original skimmer face plate, ensuring to keep the screws. Inspect the face plate gasket and replace it if worn.
3. Install New AquaDor Face Plate: Install the new AquaDor face plate using the screws from the original face plate. It is recommended to use hand tools only to avoid over-tightening.
4. Snap On AquaDor Cover: Snap on the AquaDor cover by pressing firmly around the entire perimeter. This step ensures a secure closure of the skimmer.
5. Refill Pool to Original Level: Refill your pool to the original water level, completing the installation process.

Subsequent Installation:

1. Simply Snap On AquaDor Cover: For subsequent installations, simply snap on the AquaDor cover without the need to lower the water level. This step ensures a quick and hassle-free process for routine maintenance or pool closing.
