The Raypak 336A ASME Pool Heater is designed to meet American Society of Mechanical Engineer standards. These standards not only meet but should also exceed the strenuous of commercial code requirements.
The Raypak comes standard with a Unitherm Governor, which is a patented 3-way valve built in the header that helps reduce condensation from low inlet water temperatures. It automatically regulates the water flow to help keep the water temperature in the heat exchanger above 105°F. Both water temperature and water flow rate are controlled to eliminate condensation, sooting, and scale build-up that can shorten heater life.
